Rain can't dampen great Gala Day

Despite a few rain showers, the large crowds that gathered in Cowdenbeath on Saturday saw this year's Civic Week finish in style, with the parade followed by the crowning of Queen Taylor Bayne.

The colourful procession made its way down the High Street, and round to the High School field, where Taylor was crowned by this year's Citizen of the Year, George Bird. The crowning was followed by an afternoon's entertainments, including dancers, music and wrestling.
