Man arrested after Cowdenbeath housebreakings and thefts
A man has been arrested following reports of crimes including housebreakings and motor vehicles within the Cowdenbeath area.
He has since appeared at court in relation to these offences and been remanded in custody.
Detective Sergeant Andrew Patrick commended the help from locals during investigations.
He said: "We responded to the recent increase in thefts within the Cowdenbeath area by allocating the enquiry work to our detective constables, who were supported by our Pro-Active Team.
“I am delighted by the public assistance they received during the investigation into these crimes and I would ask the public to remain vigilant when it comes to their property whenever they can, thereby denying thieves the opportunity to deprive them of their possessions and property.
