  • Johnny Dempster's late goal gave Cowdenbeath a deserved draw with Alloa

A late goal from sub Johnny Dempster gave Cowdenbeath a well deserved share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw with league leaders Alloa.

Dempster's 84th-minute strike cancelled out Alloa's goal from Brown Ferguson shortly after the break, and keeps the Blue Brazil within touching distance of Alloa, with a game in hand.
