Cowdenbeath hit East Fife for six on their return to competitive action
It had been a long wait for competitive action for Cowdenbeath, but they returned in style in the Central Park derby with East Fife, as they hit their Fife rivals for six in a win that maintains their play-off bid.
A goal from Jay Stein gave the Blue Brazil the lead at the half time, and although East Fife equalised six minutes after the break, goals from Paul McQuade, Darren McGregor, Paul McManus and Mark Ramsay put Cowdenbeath on course for victory, before Jay Stein's second completed the rout.
