Arbroath win moves Cowdenbeath closer to leaders

  • Cowdenbeath moved clear in second place with a 2-1 win over Arbroath

Cowdenbeath came from a goal down to beat Arbroath 2-1 in a win that saw them pull within three points of division two leaders Stirling.

The visitors took a first-half lead but two goals in three second half minutes from Paul McQuade and Darren McGregor gave the Blue Brazil the victory.

Cowdenbeath are back in action on Saturday 13th March when they travel to face Clyde at Broadwood Stadium, Cumbernauld - kick off 3pm.
