Old and New

by Just Jock

Just drove through cowdenbeath via Google god hardly recognised it, its all changed so many new shops and all the beautiful character of the old high street of 20 years ago is all gone it brought a tear to my eyes, saddened me really,,places that had memories for me were not there,, few changed into silly green areas with a garden seat, Mitchel Crescent is what I loved about Council houses, I love them style of houses, not the modern style houses you see in  many places of today, flats look terrible no character.

Memories, Nostalgia & History

History doesn't have to be in black & white

Your memory of a local character or a school photo from the last ten years can be just as interesting as wars and Victorians.
